This book guides you through all the financial terms, policies, life insurance, retirement plans, the Social Security program, mutual funds, IRAs, Medicare, and much more, very smoothly and in easy-to-understand language. As the readers advance with reading the chapters of this book, they will get more information and knowledge shared by the author. This book is written in an easy-to-understand way, and all the concepts and plot are clearly mentioned with proper layout. Readers who have basic knowledge of finance can also understand it well.
The author mentioned Reconfigurement financial, which is about reconfiguring your life at any stage and planning ahead. He has also mentioned in this book that Americans will need to work past the normal retirement age of 65. The aging process has slowed, and we are living longer. A 40-year-old or a 50-year-old is in a much better position to reconfigure their life and plan for a second career (reconfigurement is possible at any age, especially given the wisdom that comes with age).
In the 8th chapter, the author clarifies that this book is intended to share general information and is not intended to provide specific advice or recommendations to anyone. However, this book contains lots of information and good stuff regarding financial planning and decision-making for working-class and retired people. The author has shared many examples from his life along with jokes to keep reader's interest alive. Also, supported data is provided with pros and cons for better understanding and to make readers aware of the risks involved.

This book is very well written and edited. However, the index of this book does not provide readers with much information, and there is less synchronization among the chapters of this book. Because of this reason, I have deducted one star. I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 5 stars.
